Sci-hub really helps me and most people I know on the health Field.
1. It's definitively a good thing, most authors I know don't get many incentives for their studies/articles, so they being available through Sci-hub doesn't hurt them or influence them. I'm also guessing most people who write articles use sci-hub.
2. As an Intern/student and on my profession, getting the information iI want helps me help people; If I didn't have sci-hub I wouldn't pay for the articles, resulting in "worse" services provided
3. I loved the old data base, although the forum works very well. I don't know how it can progress, other then making a huge database and combining it into an LLM. Not as in a way to get quick answers but as a way to find new questions to ask, and then starting an article search. As a consumer, I would like Sci-Hub to have a way to stay online even if something happens, like a back-up plan if things go wrong
4. Have less access to new information, libraries don't have all the information and people with access to the magazines are few and it takes time to get an article
5. Thank you so much to all the contributors!!! Knowledge should be free and easy to access |
