“100 thumb rules” book is designed to be an aid to those involved in the detection, diagnosis and management of fetal abnormalities. This will include obstetricians, fetal medicine specialists , trainees in obstetric ultrasound & fetal medicine and obstetric sonographers,. This book will also be useful as a teaching tool for anyone involved in scanning the fetus. The purpose of this book is to help interpret fetal ultrasound findings and aid in making a rough estimate , if fetal parameters are with in normal range or out of the normal range. We also have tried to be innovative in making certain thumb rules e.g. normal value ( 50th centile) of nuchal translucency (NT). Prefix 1 to CRL in mm! It is easy to know median value. These thumb rules will be useful in your day to day clinical obstetric USG practise to all those involved in fetal care.
