Abstract: In this comment to Michael A. Arbib's paper «Your soul is a distributed property of the brains of yourself and others», after a brief methodological consideration (∫ 1), we focus on the notion of self-narrative as a key interdisciplinary concept capable to capture essential aspects of persons' identity. We conceive self narratives as relational dynamical and distributed constructs (∫ 2) that have a neural implementation (∫ 3). With this notion, then, we comment on the deep issue of the afterlife raised in the target paper (and its Appendix) introducing some basic concepts and insights drawn from the Christin tradition (∫ 4)
