Pyrolysis characteristic and kinetic equation of spent diatomite used for Beer filtrationThe pyrolysis characteristics of spent diatomite were studied by the thermo-gravimetric analysis method under N2 atmosphere.The temperature of furnace was increased from 298 K to 1 173 K at 5,10,15 K/min.The results showed that the spent diatomite had three steps,the decomposition of saccharomyces cerevisiae and protein was the main pyrolysis process.DTG curve peak shifts to high temperature area when the heating rate is promoted.The pyrolysis kinetic equation of spent diatomite was submitted to third order chemical reaction by Coats-Redfem method.The calculated activation energy and preexponential factor were 51.13,58.14 and 69.21 kJ/mol;2.5E+04,1.1E+04 and 6.8E+05 min-1 at different heating rates
