This is not mistaking an article for another. This is a deliberate attempt to get the points by betting the poster will in good faith adopt even before obtaining the file. Because, why wouldn't he?
You see, uploading a bogus pdf is what scientists and academics call cock-blocking, as this thwarts the help of others who might be able to but don't—as they assume this was already taken care of. Why wouldn't he?
