I’ve noticed a growing problem in our community: some members consistently request help hundreds of times but have never contributed back. This free-riding behavior undermines the spirit of collaboration and can drain the goodwill of those who do contribute.
Why this matters: It creates an unfair environment where only a few give and many take. It discourages helpers from continuing to share their time and effort. If left unchecked, it could erode the supportive culture we’ve built.
What you can do: Be mindful of who you’re helping, check their history before investing your effort. Consider blocking persistent free riders who never engage in mutual support. Encourage a healthy balance of giving and receiving help.
