[Love Zone] Community Reminder: Beware of Free Riders

I*ve noticed a growing problem in our community: some members consistently request help hundreds of times but have never contributed back. This free-riding behavior undermines the spirit of collaboration and can drain the goodwill of those who do contribute.

Why this matters:
  • It creates an unfair environment where only a few give and many take.
  • It discourages helpers from continuing to share their time and effort.
  • If left unchecked, it could erode the supportive culture we*ve built.

What you can do:
  • Be mindful of who you*re helping, check their history before investing your effort.
  • Consider blocking persistent free riders who never engage in mutual support.
  • Encourage a healthy balance of giving and receiving help.

Let*s work together to keep this a fair, respectful, and sustainable place for everyone.

Same problem here, no access to articles database(the ones I have are already available to all of us). Not a free rider mentality but this is how it is and donating from time to time is the only thing I can really do.

I don't have access any more to subscriptions, and I have a serious health issue I'm trying to research. I am so grateful to the community for helping me.
